Iglesia ni Cristo affirms that eternal life in God's Kingdom is the destiny of faithful INC members. Those who believe in Christ, are baptized into INC, obey the Church's authority, and remain faithful throughout their lives will enter eternal life in God's presence. This is understood as the ultimate reward and goal of Christian faith and discipleship. The emphasis is on the exclusive nature of this salvation: only those in the true Church (INC) will achieve eternal life.

Heaven is presented not as an abstract spiritual state but as participation in God's eternal Kingdom. The righteous, understanding these to be faithful INC members, will enjoy eternal fellowship with God and with one another in a state of peace, joy, and security. The doctrine of heaven is inseparable from INC's exclusive claim to be the true Church and the only path to salvation. Fidelity to the Church and its leadership is the means of inheriting eternal life.
