Literal return of Christ in glory to judge all and consummate history
Waldensians affirm that Jesus Christ will literally return to earth in glory to judge all people and to consummate God's plan for history. This second coming is presented as a certain and future event that will bring human history to its appointed end and usher in the final state of reward and judgment.
At his return, Christ will raise all the dead, judge the living and the dead according to their works and faith, and establish his eternal kingdom. The redeemed will inherit eternal life in God's presence, and the unrighteous will face final judgment.
