Christ will return; the community waits with patient, communal faithfulness
Hutterites affirm the return of Christ as a certain future event. Like other Anabaptist communities, they approach eschatology with a non-speculative patience: the community does not predict dates, decode prophetic signs, or engage with dispensationalist systems. The focus is on faithful communal life in the present, sustained by the confidence that God will vindicate his people.
The communal Bruderhof life is itself understood as eschatological witness: a colony of the Kingdom of God in the midst of the world's kingdoms, demonstrating that another way of life is possible under Christ's lordship.
