Revelation 20:1-6 — "The Thousand Years"

What is binding is the affirmation of Christ's return, the resurrection of the dead, and the future judgment. The specific timing and nature of Christ's millennial reign is treated as important but secondary.

The EFCA's focus on eschatology generally emphasizes readiness for Christ's return and the importance of missions and evangelism in light of the believer's eschatological hope. The premillennial view supports an urgency regarding gospel proclamation and Christ's imminent return.
