The True Jesus Church rejects unconditional predestination and affirms a conditional view of election aligned with Arminian theology. God desires all people to be saved and has predestined salvation for all who respond in faith and obedience to His conditions. The election is conditional on the sinner's faithful response to God's call.
God's foreknowledge encompasses both those who will believe and those who will reject, but God does not arbitrarily predestine some to damnation and others to salvation. Rather, the conditions of salvation are set before all, and those who meet the conditions (faith, baptism in Jesus' name, tongues, Sabbath, foot washing) are elected and will persevere through God's grace.
This understanding preserves both divine sovereignty and human responsibility. God's will is that all come to salvation, and He has made the way clear through the church's five sacraments. The elect are those who respond to God's call with complete obedience.
