The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God affirms the Trinitarian nature of God — one being in three persons. God is understood as fundamentally powerful and active in the world. God is not distant or aloof but is intimately involved in the affairs of believers, responding to prayers, healing the sick, delivering the oppressed from demonic forces, and providing material prosperity.
A distinctive feature of UCKG theology is the emphasis on God's desire and intention that believers prosper physically and materially. God is portrayed as generous, abundant, and eager to bless those who have faith and give seed-faith offerings. Poverty, sickness, and demonic oppression are understood not as God's will but as the work of Satan. God wills the liberation and prosperity of His people. This understanding shapes the UCKG's entire theological framework and pastoral practice.
God's justice is also emphasized — God punishes unfaithfulness and rewards obedience. The UCKG teaches that curses and blessings are spiritual realities; divine blessing comes through proper faith, obedience, and seed-faith giving, while curses result from disobedience, failure to tithe or give offerings, or demonic attacks. God's power is understood as actively deployed on behalf of believers in spiritual warfare and in the provision of material needs.
