Premillennial, amillennial, postmillennial views coexist without mandate
The SDB denomination does not officially require a specific position on the millennium or the precise chronology of end-times events. Individual congregations and theologians within the SDB hold varying millennial views — some affirming premillennialism (Christ returns before a literal thousand-year reign), others amillennialism (the millennium is a symbolic description of the church age), and still others postmillennialism (Christ returns after a spiritually victorious age).
