Millennium

The Salvation Army has no official position on the millennium or specific end-times sequence. While evangelicals hold varied millennial views (premillennial, amillennial, postmillennial), the Handbook of Doctrine does not prescribe a particular interpretation. This openness reflects the Salvation Army's priority on salvation and moral living rather than prophetic precision.

Different Salvation Army officers and members may hold different eschatological positions without violating core doctrine. The emphasis remains on the reality of Christ's return and the need for present faithfulness rather than on the detailed chronology of end-times events.
