Premillennial; believers will reign with Christ; one thousand year earthly reign
The RCCG teaches a premillennial eschatology in which Christ will return to earth, defeat his enemies, establish a literal thousand-year kingdom on earth, and reign visibly with his saints. During this millennial period, believers will rule and reign with Christ. This interpretation of Revelation 20 is understood as describing a real, historical, one-thousand-year period in which righteousness will prevail and Christ's lordship will be visibly established on earth.
The premillennial framework shapes RCCG expectations about the future and provides hope that God's purposes for creation will be fully realized. The church expects the Gospel to go to all nations before the Millennium begins (a great harvest of souls), and the Millennium is understood as the culmination of God's redemptive purposes for creation. After the Millennium, there will be the final rebellion of Satan, the Last Judgment, and the eternal Kingdom. This eschatological vision motivates the church's evangelistic zeal and its expectation of spiritual victory before the end times.
