Premillennial; 1000-year reign of Christ; Message followers will reign with Him
Branhamism is firmly premillennial, teaching that Christ will return to earth before the Millennium and establish a literal 1000-year kingdom. During this period, Christ reigns visibly on earth, and the saints—including the bride of Christ and other believers—reign with Him. Branham taught that the Message believers would play a special role in this millennial kingdom.
The Millennium follows the rapture and tribulation, representing God's restoration of creation and the fulfillment of the Old Testament promises to Israel. Branham's premillennialism is tied to his overall eschatological vision and reinforces the belief that history is moving toward a cataclysmic divine intervention that will establish God's kingdom definitively on the earth.
