John 7:53–8:11 — "The Woman Caught in Adultery"

The Church of God General Conference affirms the theological content of John 7:53–8:11 while remaining open to scholarly discussion about its textual status. The COGC recognizes that this passage does not appear in the earliest manuscripts of John's Gospel.
