Isaiah 7:14 — "Virgin or Young Woman"

The Community of Christ affirms the virgin birth as presented in the Gospel accounts and reads Isaiah 7:14 in light of this Christian tradition. However, the Community maintains scholarly awareness that Isaiah 7:14 in its original context may have referred to an immediate historical fulfillment.
