Holidays

The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God celebrates Christmas (the incarnation and birth of Jesus) and Easter (the resurrection of Jesus) as central Christian holidays. These occasions are marked with special services, preaching, and corporate celebration. The UCKG does not reject these holidays as pagan but understands them as legitimate Christian observances rooted in Scripture and church tradition.

Beyond Christmas and Easter, the UCKG maintains a rich calendar of spiritual conferences, conventions, and harvest festivals that serve as major events in the church year. These gatherings, often lasting multiple days and drawing large crowds, feature intensive preaching, prayer, deliverance and healing services, testimonies, prophecy, and expressions of worship. The participants come with expectation of encountering God's power, receiving healing, being delivered from demons, and experiencing the Spirit's manifestation.

Harvest festivals are occasions when the UCKG celebrates God's provision and the fruits of seed-faith giving. These festivals are understood as times when God's blessing is particularly manifest and when believers reap harvests proportional to their earlier giving. The calendar of festivals and conferences is central to UCKG communal life and contributes to the movement's intensity and vitality.
