Heaven

IFCA International affirms heaven as the eternal dwelling place of God and the ultimate blessing of believers. Heaven is not merely a spiritual realm but a real place where believers will dwell forever with God in resurrection bodies. The IFCA teaches the rapture of the church as a pretribulational event: before the great tribulation, believers will be caught up to meet Christ in the air and taken to heaven.

The rapture is distinct from the resurrection of the dead in IFCA dispensational theology. Those who are alive at the rapture will be transformed without dying; those who have died will be raised in glorified bodies to meet the Lord. In heaven, believers will experience the presence of God, the removal of all sin and suffering, perfect joy and communion with Christ. The promise of heaven sustains believers through earthly trials and motivates holy living.

Reformation of all things and the believer's future glory is central to IFCA hope. Believers will inherit eternal life, possess resurrection bodies adapted for eternity, and participate in the eternal kingdom of God. This is not presented as a shadowy spiritual existence but as a concrete reality involving resurrection bodies, community, and conscious relationship with God. The hope of heaven is a fundamental motivator for personal conversion and faithfulness to Christ.
