Sixty-six book Protestant canon is Scripture
Vineyard affirms the 66-book Protestant biblical canon as the inspired, written Word of God. The Apocrypha and other extracanonical texts are not considered Scripture. The Old and New Testaments together form the complete and sufficient written revelation of God's redemptive purposes.
Vineyard's affirmation of ongoing revelatory spiritual gifts does not add to or supplant the biblical canon. All prophetic words, visions, and spiritual impressions are to be tested against the standard of Scripture. The Bible remains the final authority in matters of faith and practice.
