The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God affirms the doctrine of original sin. Humanity fell into sin through Adam's transgression in the Garden of Eden. As a result, all human beings inherit a sinful nature and are born in a state of separation from God. This fallen condition affects the entire person and makes all people naturally inclined toward evil and deserving of God's judgment apart from grace.

The UCKG emphasizes that human sinfulness creates vulnerability to demonic exploitation. Sin opens the door to demonic attack and oppression. Demons are understood as real spiritual entities that exploit human weakness, foster false desires, and drive people toward destructive choices. Deliverance from sin thus involves both repentance (turning from sinful choices) and spiritual warfare against demonic forces that seek to keep people in bondage.

Regeneration through faith in Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit is necessary to break this bondage. Conversion involves repentance and faith, and sanctification involves ongoing growth in holiness. The UCKG emphasizes that believers must actively resist demonic influence through prayer, obedience to church teachings, seed-faith giving, and reliance on Christ's power. Overcoming sin is not passive but requires aggressive engagement in spiritual warfare.
