The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God affirms Chalcedonian Christology — Jesus Christ is one person possessing two natures, fully God and fully human. Jesus is Lord and Savior; through His incarnation, death, and resurrection, complete redemption is provided for all who believe. Jesus is the Son of God, coequal with the Father, and worthy of worship and total devotion.

In UCKG theology, Jesus is understood primarily as Deliverer and victor over demonic forces. Through His passion and resurrection, Christ conquered Satan, broke the power of demons, and provided the means for believers to be liberated from spiritual bondage. The cross is understood as the place where Satan was defeated and where the power of curses and evil was broken. Through faith in Christ and reliance on His blood (metaphorically), believers gain authority in spiritual warfare to rebuke and cast out demons and to claim freedom from oppression.

Jesus is also understood as Healer and Provider. His redemptive work extends to physical healing and material provision. Believers can claim healing and prosperity through faith in Christ's redemptive power. The imminent return of Christ is emphasized, and believers are called to prepare through faith, obedience, and seed-faith giving. Christ will judge the living and the dead and will establish His kingdom in fullness.
