The Church of God (Anderson) affirms that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He is God in the flesh, the eternal Word made incarnate for the redemption of humanity. As God, He is worthy of worship and possesses all divine attributes. As human, He was genuinely tempted, truly suffered, and died a real death on the cross, yet was without sin.

Jesus Christ is the one mediator between God and humanity, the sole ground of salvation, and the Lord and Head of the church. His resurrection from the dead is the foundation of Christian hope and the guarantee that all who trust in Him will likewise be raised. The virgin birth is affirmed as an essential truth protecting the full divinity and full humanity of Christ. Jesus is not merely an exemplary human or an elevated creature but the incarnate God, deserving of supreme devotion and honor.
