No official millennial position; eschatological speculation discouraged

The ICOC has no official position on the millennium. Consistent with the broader Churches of Christ tradition, the movement is skeptical of dispensationalist speculation and does not teach a premillennial, literal 1,000-year reign as a doctrinal requirement. The return of Christ, the resurrection, and the final judgment are affirmed; the millennial question is treated as a secondary matter.

The ICOC's focus on present-tense urgent evangelism — reaching the world with the gospel in a single generation — leaves little room for detailed eschatological speculation. What matters is faithfulness and fruitfulness now.
