Christian Churches affirm God as the one, infinite, all-knowing, all-powerful Creator and Sustainer of the universe who eternally exists as three distinct persons. God is understood as the ultimate source of all reality and personal being—not an impersonal force or abstract principle. The nature of God is disclosed through Scripture and supremely through Jesus Christ.

God possesses the classical divine attributes: eternality, immutability, omniscience, omnipotence, holiness, justice, and love. However, following the Restoration principle, these attributes are grounded in biblical revelation rather than in Hellenistic philosophical speculation (such as impassibility or timelessness without qualifications). God genuinely responds to creation and acts in history.

The Trinity reflects the threefold revelation in Scripture: God as Father (Creator and sovereign lawgiver), God as Son (redeemer and mediator), and God as Spirit (sanctifier and indweller). This doctrine is central to Christian understanding of divine redemptive work.
