The Cherubim and Seraphim Church affirms the traditional Christian understanding of God as Trinitarian monotheism — one God in three persons. God is understood as transcendent (completely distinct from creation) and immanent (intimately present and active in the world). The fatherhood of God is central to C&S piety; believers are exhorted to call upon God as their Father in prayer and to trust in His providential care.

Moreover, God is understood primarily as a God of power, healing, and protective intervention. The emphasis falls not so much on God's abstract attributes as on God's dynamic activity — answering prayer, healing the sick, delivering from demonic oppression, and protecting the faithful. God's power is understood as actively contested in the spiritual realm; while God is ultimately sovereign, spiritual forces of evil are real and must be resisted through prayer and faith.

God's nature is holy and demands holiness from His people. The C&S emphasizes separation from sin and worldly practices as essential to pleasing God. God's justice is real — sin has consequences both in the present (demonic attack, sickness) and in the hereafter (judgment). Yet God's mercy and willingness to hear and answer prayer are foundational to the C&S's pastoral theology.
