Armstrongism strongly affirms a literal, premillennial reading of Revelation 20:1-6. Christ will return, reign visibly for one thousand years, and establish God's Kingdom on earth. This is central to Armstrongism's eschatological vision: a literal Kingdom of God with governmental structure, law, and order, initially ruled by Christ and the resurrected saints.

Unlike dispensationalist premillennialism, Armstrongism does not teach a secret rapture. Instead, Christ's visible return initiates the thousand-year reign, during which Satan is bound. After this, Satan is released for a final rebellion, followed by the White Throne Judgment and a new heavens and new earth.
