The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God affirms the literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth. This second coming is understood as imminent — it could occur at any time. At Christ's return, the dead in Christ will be raised, the living will be transformed, believers will be caught up to meet the Lord, and the final judgment will commence. All humanity will acknowledge Christ's lordship, and His kingdom will be fully established.

The UCKG holds a premillennial eschatological expectation — Christ will return to establish a thousand-year reign of peace and righteousness on earth. During this millennium, Satan will be bound, and Christ will rule in justice. The imminence of Christ's return creates urgency in the present age; believers are called to evangelize, to maintain faith and holiness, to give seed-faith offerings, and to prepare for Christ's coming.

The second coming is understood both as a promise for believers (deliverance, reunion with Christ, eternal reward) and as a threat of judgment for the unrighteous. The UCKG's aggressive evangelism and its emphasis on conversion and perseverance are grounded in the conviction that time is running out and that individuals must make the choice to serve Christ while the opportunity remains. The imminent return of Christ lends eschatological urgency to all UCKG preaching and ministry.
