Soul continues after death; resurrection of righteous; Olam Ha-Ba (World to Come)
Messianic Judaism affirms the reality of personal immortality and bodily resurrection, drawing from both Jewish and Christian eschatological traditions. The soul survives bodily death and will be reunited with a resurrected body in the eschaton. The righteous will dwell in Olam Ha-Ba (the World to Come), a state of eternal fellowship with God and the Messiah. This includes the resurrection from the dead and divine judgment in the age to come.
The concept of Olam Ha-Ba integrates Jewish hope for national restoration and individual eternal life. Messianic communities emphasize both the continuity with Jewish eschatological hope and the fulfillment of that hope through Yeshua the Messiah. The resurrection of Yeshua is understood as the first fruits of the general resurrection promised in the Torah and Prophets.
