The Kimbanguist Church affirms the traditional Christian understanding of God the Father as the transcendent Creator and sustainer of all creation. God is eternal, all-powerful, and all-knowing. This classical understanding forms the foundation of Kimbanguist theology, though it is understood in continuity with African traditional understandings of the Creator God.
