IFCA International teaches salvation as a grace-centered work of God accomplished through the death and resurrection of Christ and received through faith alone. Justification — the legal declaration that the believer is righteous before God based on Christ's imputed righteousness — occurs at the moment of genuine faith in Christ. The believer is accounted righteous before God and no longer subject to condemnation; sin's penalty is paid by Christ's substitutionary death.

Eternal security (also called the perseverance of saints or "once saved, always saved") is a hallmark IFCA doctrine. Once a person is genuinely converted and has placed saving faith in Christ, that person is eternally secure in God's grace and cannot be lost. This assurance is not based on the believer's faithfulness but on God's sovereign promise and the finished work of Christ. A true believer's security does not depend on continued moral perfection or repeated renewal of commitment but on God's unchangeable grace.

Within the IFCA, there is diversity regarding the doctrines of election and predestination — some members hold Calvinist views (unconditional election and limited atonement) while others hold non-Calvinist views (conditional election and unlimited atonement). However, all affirm justification by faith alone and eternal security at the moment of saving faith. The emphasis is on the sufficiency of Christ's work and God's grace in salvation.
