The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel permits blood transfusions and does not hold that they violate Scripture or faith. The Church encourages believers to accept appropriate medical treatment, including transfusions when medically necessary. While the Church emphasizes divine healing as a gift of the Spirit (Jesus the Healer), it does not oppose medical science or view medical intervention as lack of faith.

Faith in God's healing power and acceptance of medical care are understood as compatible, not contradictory. Believers are encouraged to pray for healing, to trust in God's care, and also to seek medical help when seriously ill. The Church's theology of divine healing does not preclude the use of modern medicine, including blood transfusions.
