As the "Coming King," Jesus embodies the fourfold gospel's eschatological promise. He ascended to the Father and sits at the right hand, interceding for his people. His return is personal, imminent, and will consummate history in the establishment of his kingdom. The C&MA affirms Jesus' absolute lordship, his uniqueness as the only way to salvation, and his ongoing presence through the Holy Spirit.
