Branhamism affirms the inerrancy of the Bible in its original autographs. The 66 books of Scripture are God's infallible, authoritative Word. Modern Bible translations may have errors, but the original Hebrew and Greek texts are inerrant and fully reliable. Branham condemned higher criticism and modernist skepticism about biblical authenticity and accuracy.

However, inerrancy is paired with the understanding that Branham's sermons provide the true spiritual interpretation and revelation hidden in Scripture. While the words of Scripture are inerrant, many of their meanings remained veiled until Branham's ministry unlocked the mysteries. In this view, biblical inerrancy and Branham's prophetic revelation work together: the written Word is trustworthy, and the Spoken Word reveals its deepest significance.
